Compostwerks Tea Brewers

Compostwerks Tea Brewers are designed for ease of use with consistent high quality results. The cone bottom configuration assures that the compost tea stays well aerated and homogenous during the entire brewing cycle.

We use a medium sized bubble diffusion system to keep the water properly oxygenated and reduce the time required to volatalize chlorine from municipal water sources.

Cleaning is greatly simplified because of the absolute minimum of plumbing exposed to the compost tea. A high pressure blast of water immediately after the compost tea had been dispensed will prevent the accumulation of bio-film which takes about ten minutes.

Compostwerks Commercial Tea Brewers are available in 30, 55, 85, 110 and 200 gallon (pictured here) configurations. We use the highest quality UL listed air pumps available, and water heaters are available on request35

All of our commercial compost tea brewers feature an extraction chamber which is driven by air to allow for gentle but efficient liberation of biology, and there are no water pumps which can harm biology. Less compost is needed because the extraction is so complete.

Professional Compost Tea Extraction Chambers

Compostwerks LLC has designed a versatile extraction chamber which is adaptable to almost all commercial compost tea brewers. These units fit into an opening from 8 to 15 inches in diameter. The extraction chamber is driven with an auxiliary air pump in order to effectively extract the biology from the compost. There are no moving parts which can cause damage to the microbes.

Testing has shown that this apparatus can dramatically increase extraction of bacteria, fungi, nematodes, protozoa and micro-arthropods from compost. The extra air input also increases dissolved oxygen levels within the brewer. Cleaning of the extraction chamber is fast and simple.
